Greater Sudbury Library – Maker’s Space

Institutional & Cultural

The renovation of a space in the existing Main Branch Public Library turned the underused storage space into a brand new Maker’s Space. The room is equipped with industrial and flexible furniture and functional workstations that accommodate a collection of resources and interactive tools such as 3D Printers, laser cutting machines, sewing machines, small hand tools and computers. The Makerspace provides access for all to these wide range of tools and resources and is host to programs and workshops related to making, DIY, and innovation.
